Marc is a sponsorship and sports marketing executive with extensive experience activating rights across traditional and digital channels. He has led Standard Chartered’s marquee sponsorship of Liverpool FC (LFC) for eight years, overseeing the global rights activation – covering 40 markets – delivering tangible results for the Bank’s Businesses, driving brand awareness and supporting employee engagement and sustainability initiatives. In 2016, under Marc’s leadership, Standard Chartered won ‘Best Sponsorship of a Sport, Team or Event’ at the Sports Industry Awards Asia. In addition, he has won the Best international marketing campaign at the 2013 and 2017 BT Sports industry awards for the SC Trophy and Inside Anfield VR experience.
In addition to football Marc has worked across Standard Chartered’s marathons portfolio, including 11 races spanning four continents. He has also worked in business communications and finance roles at the Bank. Prior to Standard Chartered Marc worked as a researcher at Sports Marketing Surveys (now Nielsen).
