Bill Jinks

Bill is the IT Director at Wimbledon where he leads the technology team that deliver The Championships – the only Grand Slam tennis tournament still played on grass at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Bill’s goal is to deliver technology and digital innovation that enhances the experience for players, guests and fans, and doing it in such a way that enhances the traditions and heritage of Wimbledon. Prior to joining Wimbledon in 2018, Bill was an IBM Distinguished Engineer, with success across a broad range of complex integration projects and transformation programmes. Bill is regularly asked what he does for the other fifty weeks of the year. Beyond The Championships, Bill is responsible for the day-to-day technology operations across the whole of the business, including the All England Club, the Wimbledon Museum, the Wimbledon Shop and two community sports centres.
