Dr. Hendrik Weber heads the Sports Technology and Innovation department at the DFL Deutsche Fussball Liga (Bundesliga), based in Frankfurt, which – together with its subsidiaries – is responsible for organising and commercialising German professional football.
In recent years, Hendrik has held various positions within the DFL Group. Among others, he founded Sportec Solutions AG (STS), which he first managed for 6 years as Co-CEO and now supports strategically as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
STS bundles topics such as sports data analytics, sports innovation and sports technology for German football. Hendrik previously worked in management consulting (e.g. Deloitte) as well as in the entrepreneurship environment and has a strong academic background. He holds an MBA and PhD (University of Bayreuth, Technical University of Dresden, University of Delaware).
