Pablo Salazar Mendías, Seconded National Expert, European Serious and Organised Crime Centre, EUROPOL.

 

Pablo Salazar is an Expert at Europol supporting the Analysis Project on Sports Corruption within the Operations Department of the Economic and Property Crime Unit in the European Serious and Organised Crime Centre.

He supports the Analysis Project giving a response to serious and organised crime groups involved in sports corruption.

Mr Salazar is a Police Inspector from the Spanish National Police with more than 20 years of experience in the investigation of fraud, financial & property crimes and Organised Crime Groups.

He joined Europol and the Analysis Project on sports corruption in February 2017. He previously worked as team leader of the Financial Crime Group in the Canary Islands.

Mr Salazar holds University Degree in Police Sciences, Criminal Law and Criminology from the State University of Granada, Spain.
