Stuart Larman

Stuart has been the Director of Club Licensing and Club Development at the UAE Pro League since 2019. In his role at the Pro League, he has overseen the introduction of a number of projects that are focused on the long-term sustainability of the member clubs and strengthening of a club licensing system that was already highly regarded in Asia.

Through the requirements of the club licensing system, Stuart has worked to enhance the areas of player education, youth protection and integrity, most notably through the introduction of a league safeguarding policy which includes background checks and a series of workshops for club staff.

Prior to the UAE Pro League, Stuart spent over 15 years working in football development including four years with FIFA Development Department and five years as Director of MA Development at the Asian Football Confederation.
