Darek Maciolek

Dariusz Maciołek has been Chief Marketing Officer at BNP Paribas Bank Polska for seven years. In January 2025 he also assumed the role of Chief Experience Officer and is a Member of the Board of the BNP Paribas Foundation. For over two years, he has been associated with the Polish Advertisers Organisation (POR), serving as its President since June 2025. Since July this year, he has been heading the Association of Marketing Communications Agencies. Previously, he was Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Aviva Poland.

At BNP Paribas Bank Polska, he leads a team of more than 60 professionals responsible for developing and delivering strategies across marketing and Customer Experience (CX). His role is to build a strong brand for the Bank and reinforce its market position, providing marketing support to individual business lines, and overseeing the achievement of strategic objectives related to Customer satisfaction. He works closely with business units and Tribes on Customer journey mapping and other client-centric initiatives, ensuring a consistent end-to-end experience. He is also responsible for the Bank’s marketing strategy, communication, social media development, PR and internal communication, sponsorship, event organisation and marketing research.

Dariusz Maciołek has over 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, sponsorship, communication and social media, gained in both the financial sector (PZU, Rabobank, Provident) and the energy sector (PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna).

His achievements in the field have earned him numerous prestigious accolades, including the CMO of the Year title awarded by Media & Marketing Polska, AD Marketer of the Year in the AD WO/MAN of the Year 2020 competition, Marketer of the Year 2022 in the prestigious MP Power event industry awards, and first place in the TOP 50 CMO in Poland ranking in 2023. Under his leadership, BNP Paribas Bank Polska campaigns have won seven Cannes Lions awards, including Titanium and the Glass Grand Prix, and in 2024 the #WPŁYWOWI campaign received 11 awards from the Polish Creative Club (KTR).
