As Assistant Director – Sustainable Golf Development, John Kemp is responsible for corporate sustainability at The R&A, the sustainability programme of The Open and AIG Women’s Open, as well as leadership for the global sport through sustainable golf research, industry education and engagement in sustainability, and global agronomic standards setting.
John has previously worked in a range of roles including consulting to golf facilities, and with not-for-profit GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf. John has worked and acted in voluntary capacity across a range of sports – from grassroots clubs to national governing bodies.
