Brand Partnerships Panel Lineup

We are pleased to announce the following brand partnerships panel lineup for this year’s International Sports Convention taking place March 22-23.

The panel will include:

Sarah Batters – Director of Partnerships and Marketing for Southampton Football Club. Sarah has more than 15 years in the marketing and commercial industry, and she has worked on some of the world’s biggest brands across Europe, Asia and Australasia.

Sarah and her team lead the way to securing a record front of shirt sponsorship deal with Sportsbet, which was later renewed. Despite the hardship of COVID-19, partnerships revenue increased by more than £2 million under her leadership and the fanbase of Saints has grown enormously in the last year with overall growth of 24% in all customers.

Antony Douglass – Legal Director, Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Marketing & Strategy for Specsavers. Antony is principally responsible for the legal work relating to all third-party sponsorships and partnerships at Specsavers, such as bringing the award-winning Specsavers Ashes series to life in 2019.

As well as cricket, Antony has advised across several other sports during his career, including football, rugby, Formula 1, Gaelic sports, hockey and golf. He is an active member of the European Sponsorships Association and soon to be President of Marques, the European Brand Owners Association.

Lauren Haworth – Global Marketing Director for Ecowatt. Lauren is an experienced marketing executive with skills in brand building, traditional and digital advertising, marketing strategy, institutional business development, as well as the strategic application of innovative technologies.

Lauren has served several companies, spanning numerous industries: she is an experienced CMO, board member, investor, entrepreneur, and media personality.

Richard Barnwell – Head of Partnerships at Yolo Group (SportsBet.IO). Richard has been the Yolo Group’s Head of Partnerships since 2019, sourcing and activating agreements which meet each of the brand’s needs. Working together with Premier League clubs, eSports teams, Ice Hockey leagues, individual athletes and even sending the EstCube 2 Satellite into space, he shares the Yolo Group’s high-performance work ethic and commitment to everything crypto.

Richard has a passion for developing women’s football in Estonia and he holds a UEFA A coaching licence and most recently coached the Estonian WU19 team.
