For the Industry, By the Industry: ISC Advisory Board Holds Inaugural Meeting

The International Sports Convention (ISC) Advisory Board met for the first time yesterday, with members dialling in from London, Turin, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Florida, Paris and beyond.

For the Industry, By the Industry

That’s the banner the Board was formed under, and it sums up the ambition. The aim is to transform the way ISC draws on industry expertise, from a passive sounding board into a strategic engine that drives value for the sports business industry.

The Board will guide ISC on content, programming, networking, and agenda-setting. At its heart is a drive for connection and collaboration across the sector.

Who’s at the table

The 30 members represent rights holders, clubs, leagues, governing bodies, brands, broadcasters, technology and data companies, agencies, and legal advisers. They come from organisations including UEFA, FIFA, The FA, NBA, NASCAR, PGA TOUR, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bundesliga International, DAZN, Meta, Sportradar, Two Circles, Octagon, Dentsu Sports International and Panini.

“Yesterday was a landmark moment for ISC. To have so many respected voices from across the Sports Business ecosystem around one table, all committed to giving us honest, expert input, is exactly what this industry needs. The Business of Sport is built on connections and relationships. With the Advisory Board helping to shape the International Sports Convention’s flagship event next year, we can make sure ISC continues to be the Meeting Place for the Business of Sport. Let’s do this together.”

Nigel Fletcher, Co-Founder & CEO, ISC

Eyes on London 2027

ISC turns 18 next year, and the Board’s focus is our flagship event: the International Sports Convention, London, 24-25 March 2027.

More voices coming soon

The Board will soon be joined by the newly formed ISC Sports Marketing Committee and Forum, giving the industry a further voice in shaping ISC.
