Hosting ISC’s Brand and Sponsorship Summit today, Unilever’s, Willem Dinger, the Global Head of Sport and Entertainment Partnerships, branded this Summer’s “Unilever Wash Up” at the Euros, a major victory.
Unilever have already agreed a partnership with FIFA for the World Cup of 2026 and looking to the future, Dinger said, “We are really excited about our partnerships. We have lots of brands for Women and Girls and working with UEFA and FIFA we can use football to promote awareness and improve our customers’ confidence.”
Unilever’s Head of Gifting and Football, Komal Patel added, “This was the first time we had created a campaign that brought all of our many brands together.”
“We want to become synonymous with football, but we know that the audiences for women’s football and men’s football are different and that will guide our future campaigns”.
The “Unilever Wash Up” also received a sparkling endorsement from another speaker at the Summit at Unilever House in London. UEFA’s Head of Sponsorship and Licensing, Guillaume Sabran.
“We were amazed at the work Unilever did in such a short time and look forward to seeing what you can do with more time to prepare.”
