The Hero Caribbean Premier League’s creative use of social media has netted an award from the International Sports Convention (ISC).
The ISC has awarded Hero CPL or “Best Use of Social Media” for the 2020 tournament, which took place behind closed doors because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Hero CPL’s social media and content strategy were employed to engage fans during the 2020 tournament.
CPL garnered over one million new followers and over 300 million social media views during the 18 August to 10 September tournament.

The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has won the award for “best use of social media” from the prestigious International Sports Convention (ISC) for the league’s social media and content strategy.
The award was announced during the annual international sports awards. The tournament took place between August 18 and September 10 and as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was played behind closed doors.
During the 2020 tournament, CPL added over one million new followers and had over 300 million video views via social media.
