ISC will have over 100 confirmed speakers come to the end of this year and much has been unveiled on the ISC website. I am delighted to welcome Matt. Brands and Sponsors play a crucial role in the development and commercialization of Sport. The Lucozade Sport brand has invested in partnerships for many years and have been at the cutting edge of many groundbreaking developments and investments into Sport such as women in football. For example, Lucozade Sport has become the official sports drinks and hydration partner of the England women’s team. Matt will be partaking in the high profile panel discussion – Using Brand partnerships and the Power of Sport to affect social change and attract new audiences“.
The Lucozade sports partnership has raised the profile of women’s football especially during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 and inspired a generation of women to get moving as part of the brand’s “Made To Move” campaign. England women players featured on Lucozade Sport bottles and took part in a major marketing campaign including in-store activation and advertising.
For example, England Team captain Steph Houghton said at the time: “Lucozade Sport has huge footballing heritage so it feels like a big moment to know that the Lionesses will be joining that history. Having such an iconic brand supporting women’s football is proof of just how popular the sport has become.”
Lucozade Sport has been the official sports drink and hydration partner for the England men’s team since 2008 and previously supported captains including Steven Gerrard and Harry Kane.
