The International Sports Convention (ISC) is pleased to announce a special masterclass taking place on June 17-18, 2020 at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London.
Subject matter: Opportunities in Sport with Youtube and a case study with Hashtag United. Rob Pilgrim will be representing Youtube in his sports partnerships role. #Hashtag United will be represented by Seb Carmichael Brown, Co-Founder at Hashtag United.
Nigel Fletcher, CEO of the International Sports Convention: “We realize ISC is in five months but we have a real focus in bringing in worldwide leaders and experts across the Sports Business Industry in many fields. ISC has over 100 confirmed speakers already. Youtube is constantly evolving and offering more solutions and opportunities to the sports industry. Whilst Hashtag United are not known for the on-field football (maybe in the future), their innovation and social media, especially with Youtube, is certainly very impressive“.
The meeting place of the Business of Sport
The focus of ISC London 2020 is on the Business of Sport with around 1500 participants, including over 100 speakers with 7 sports business conferences, over the 2 days, plus private roundtables and a range of hospitality and networking platforms. The main days are June 17-18, 2020. This includes comprehensive content and speakers from the Broadcast, Digital, OTT, Brands, Sponsorship, Integrity, Major events, and Technology. There will be 5 main stages each day.
About Hashtag United
Hashtag United Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Tilbury, Essex, England. They are currently members of the Essex Senior League and play at the Chadfields Stadium.
Founded in 2016 by YouTube personality Spencer Owen, the club originally played exhibition matches against professional football clubs’ staff teams, Sunday league teams and non-league teams. The games were filmed and highlights were uploaded to their YouTube channel, where they quickly gained a significant online following. In 2017 Owen began talks with the FA over the possibility of Hashtag joining the non-league pyramid. The club subsequently entered the league system at the beginning of the 2018–19 season, joining the Eastern Counties League.
