Donna Soane started working for Orange in 2004 as a Brand Partnership Consultant. In 2006 she joined the Global Sponsorship Directive with the responsibility to deliver the successful ‘Orange Wednesdays’ partnership across Orange’s international footprint. Donna is the strategic lead responsible for managing Orange’s extensive international sponsorship portfolio.
Prior to Orange, Donna started her career as a journalist after studying a BA hons degree in journalism at the London College of Communications. She quickly established that her passion for communications translated well into brand marketing and in 1998 secured a position as Head of Business Development for EMAP, where she was responsible for developing strategic brand partnerships, such as the ‘Kiss 100 house challenge’, across EMAP’s extensive radio, TV and magazine network.
In 2001, Donna was lured into the fast-growing world of telecommunications, where she was part of the global brand launch team for Three. Here, she worked with the same core team who had launched the Orange brand 7 years prior. Donna is married with one daughter.
