Jon has over 10 years’ experience in sports marketing, working within Omnicom Media Group (OMG) prior to joining McLaren Racing.
During his time with OMG, Jon designed and executed global sports & entertainment marketing strategies for brands such as Renault, Vodafone, Volkswagen, HSBC, Johnnie Walker and Carlsberg. Most recently he built OMG’s sports marketing business in Asia-Pacific.
In his current role Jon leads brand, marketing and commercial strategy for McLaren Racing. Over the past two years he has built McLaren’s long-term commercial growth plan, redefined McLaren Racing’s brand positioning, implemented the largest fan segmentation in the sport, informed the refresh of McLaren Formula One’s hospitality and has helped bring on board partners such as Google, OKX, Mastercard, Monster Energy and DP World.
Jon has also authored a book on the future impact of technology on sport; Merge Sport.
