Kevin Carpenter has worked in protecting the integrity of sport for over a decade achieving an international reputation in the field having worked across a diverse range of sports around the world. He has advised on issues ranging from competition manipulation and anti-doping to discrimination and all manner of ethics issues for prominent international, continental and national organisations including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), FIFA, the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) the Council of Europe and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Most recently, in October 2021, he was appointed to lead the International Table Tennis Federation’s (ITTF) Integrity Unit as their first-ever Head of Integrity. He also has an academic interest in the field, with his research having been widely published, as well as currently holding the post of Visiting Senior Lecturer for Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in the UK.
