Michael Cottrell is Product, Partnership and International Marketing Director at Octopus Energy Group. This remit covers managing product development, a wide range of partnerships (brand affiliations and acquisition partnerships) and working with marketing teams across Octopus Energy’s global retail businesses to drive customer growth and brand strength. He also has responsibility for exploring strategic growth opportunities in areas including the electrification of transport and the electrification of heat.
Prior to joining Octopus, Michael spent five years with Oliver Wyman as a strategy consultant within the Energy practice. Michael has a degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham.
